Facts Don’t Care About Your Feelings: Trump’s Law Enforcement Blitz Is Restoring Order, and the Left Is Melting Down

By Chief L.

Let’s get one thing straight: facts don’t care about your feelings. And the fact is, since Donald J. Trump, the 47th President of the United States, took office on January 20, 2025, America’s law enforcement agencies—ICE, DEA, HSI, and FBI—have been unleashed to do what they were always meant to do: protect American citizens, enforce the law, and dismantle the chaos left behind by years of Democrat-induced anarchy. The Left, predictably, is losing its collective mind. But here’s the reality: Trump’s immigration crackdown and law enforcement surge are exactly what this country needs, and the results speak for themselves.

Let’s Start With ICE

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. For years, the radical Left has demonized ICE, calling them “jackbooted thugs” and demanding their abolition. Why? Because ICE dares to enforce federal immigration law, which, last I checked, is their job. Since Trump took office, ICE has been operating with a renewed sense of mission. On January 26, 2025, ICE, alongside the FBI, DEA, and ATF, launched a nationwide immigration enforcement blitz, arresting nearly 1,000 people in a single day (CNN, January 26, 2025). By January 29, that number had spiked to over 1,400 arrests (AJC, January 26, 2025). These aren’t just random detentions, folks—these are targeted operations aimed at dangerous criminals, gang members, and illegal immigrants who pose a threat to public safety and national security.

Take Chicago, for example, a sanctuary city that’s been coddling criminals for years. On January 26, ICE, with support from the FBI and DEA, arrested individuals with serious rap sheets—six convicted of serious offenses, two for murder and aggravated sexual battery, and multiple gang members (NBC News, January 29, 2025). Tom Homan, Trump’s immigration czar, was on the ground in Chicago, calling it a “criminal operation” and emphasizing that this is about public safety, not politics (CNN, January 26, 2025). And yet, the Left screams “fascism!” because, apparently, arresting murderers and gang members is now controversial.

Then There’s the DEA

Drug Enforcement Administration—which has been assisting ICE in cracking down on transnational crime. In Denver, the DEA raided a makeshift nightclub linked to the Tren de Aragua gang, a Venezuelan criminal organization. Of the nearly 50 people detained, many had gang affiliations, and 41 were in the U.S. illegally (CNN, January 26, 2025). In Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Miami, DEA agents have been working alongside ICE and HSI to apprehend criminals tied to drug smuggling, human trafficking, and violent crime (NBC News, January 29, 2025). This is what winning looks like, folks: federal agencies coordinating to dismantle criminal networks that have been allowed to flourish under Biden’s open-border policies.

Now, Let’s Talk About HSI

Homeland Security Investigations—the investigative arm of ICE. HSI typically focuses on transnational crime, but Trump’s executive orders have rightly reoriented some of their resources toward immigration enforcement. On January 28, 2025, Trump’s homeland security secretary joined HSI agents in New City for an operation that arrested several individuals linked to violent crimes in both New York and Aurora, Colorado (Reuters, January 29, 2025). The Left whines that HSI agents are being “misused” for immigration work, but here’s the truth: if you’re a criminal investigator and you’re not willing to enforce immigration law, you’re in the wrong line of work. HSI has 7,100 special agents worldwide, and 300 have been detailed to immigration enforcement (Reuters, January 29, 2025). That’s efficiency, not overreach.

Oh, and There’s the FBI

And then there’s the FBI, which has been assisting ICE and DEA in these operations across the country. Posts on X from February 5 and 9, 2025, highlight FBI involvement in sweeps in El Paso, Chicago, and Virginia, targeting illegal immigrants and gang members (X posts, February 5 and 9, 2025). Now, the Left is clutching their pearls because FBI agents are doing their jobs. But here’s the kicker: Kristi Noem, Trump’s Homeland Security Secretary, called out the FBI for allegedly leaking details of ICE raids, vowing to prosecute “crooked deep state agents” (Newsweek, February 10, 2025). If true, this is a scandal—but it’s not a surprise. The FBI has been politicized for years, and Trump is right to demand accountability.

Let’s Be Clear: Trump’s Policies are Working

ICE arrests spiked to 956 on January 26 and 1,179 on January 27—the highest daily averages since ICE began keeping records (PBS, January 28, 2025). Trump has also lifted restrictions on ICE operating near “sensitive locations” like schools and hospitals, ensuring that criminals can’t hide behind sanctuary policies (PBS, January 28, 2025). The Left claims this will “traumatize children,” but here’s a thought: maybe parents shouldn’t break the law and put their kids in that position. Personal responsibility—it’s a concept the Left can’t grasp.

Now, the Left is protesting, blocking freeways in Los Angeles, and staging meltdowns over “mass deportations” (Newsweek, February 10, 2025). But here’s the reality: Trump promised the largest deportation program in U.S. history, and he’s delivering. He’s designated cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, sent troops to the border, and halted illegal entry (Fox News, January 28, 2025). This isn’t cruelty—it’s common sense. America is a nation of laws, and if you’re here illegally, especially if you’re a criminal, you’ve got to go.
The Left will cry “racism” and “xenophobia,” but facts don’t care about their feelings. Trump’s law enforcement surge is restoring order, protecting American citizens, and sending a message: nobody gets a free pass. ICE, DEA, HSI, and the FBI are doing heroic work, and Trump is giving them the tools they need to succeed. So, to the Left: cry harder. The rest of us will be over here, celebrating the return of law and order.
